“Coming Home”… from a pups perspective

Hello, it’s Malmsey here….My “human” mama is writing this on my behalf, but I just wanted to let you in on my view of the day they all came to choose me.

Actually if I’m honest it wasn’t before time as I was very bored with being with all the other dogs and puppies and the noise!!! Imagine my excitement when I saw five people arriving, (I dutifully wagged my tail till if felt I might wag it off) and my joy when they all started to coo over me and tell me how lovely I am (I know that!). Then one of them picked me up and cuddled me and that was it- I was in 7th heaven and I was determined that there was no way they would be leaving without me.

What seemed like ages and ages went by, but it was quite nice because everyone kept making a fuss of me. Eventually they took me home in the car- that was a bit of an experience- the “pictures” all move far too fast on the big screen in front, but I was quite happy because I was being cuddled… and then well when we got to what I now know as home, that was just a dream come true… sofas to sit on, a snuggly bed, (eventually) as I have to tell you they seemed very disorganized the first night I was there and I only had a duvet, but now I have a pink, snuggly bed which is divine to curl up in! The house was quiet (no yapping and barking) I got all the cuddles a puppy could possibly want and boy do they cuddle me constantly and well it’s just lovely, lovely, lovely!

I have definitely fallen  very well on my paws and in exchange for them being all soppy over me, I am loving them back with all my might as I have to tell you if this is a “dogs life” then I like it very, very much and would highly recommend it!

Till next week … Mx

    Hi Nina

Look forward to learning how marmite was added. Marmite I love – dogs not so keen (sorry!) – being chased and (my) blood being drawn while out running on two occasions hasn’t helped.

PS Have you tried the “Gold” Marmite?

    Hi Nina,
What a beautiful puppy! So eloquent too, I see why you couldn’t resist him! Bolly and I will definitely be following his blog I think that she has an interest in more than the literary content!
She also loves Marmite – she waits patiently for a corner of my toast each morning!
Love from us all, Ellie, David and Bolly x
